Sketchbook Journey: Cybernetic Shark Concepts

This one came out a little wild — and honestly, I wasn’t even sure about it at first. I started sketching sharks, focusing on form and structure, and before long it drifted into something more mechanical and experimental. Somewhere between anatomy study and cyberpunk design, this page of ideas took shape.

There’s something interesting about pushing a familiar creature into unfamiliar territory. Sharks already have that raw, aggressive presence, and layering mechanical elements on top of that just amplifies the energy. Some of these designs feel over-the-top, maybe even a bit ridiculous — but that’s part of the fun. Not every idea needs to be grounded or fully resolved to be worth exploring.

This is one of those moments where I’m just letting the sketchbook breathe. Trying things out, seeing what sticks, and not worrying too much about where it all leads. Maybe something here evolves into a finished piece, maybe it doesn’t — but the process itself is what matters.

As always, I’m continuing to move forward, sharing pieces along the way. One sketch at a time, one idea at a time — building, experimenting, and putting it out into the world. However these concepts evolve, this is part of the journey.
