Sketchbook Journey: Cyberpunk Signal
This piece feels like it’s right on the edge of becoming something finished. It started as another exploration into cyberpunk themes — layering structure, energy, and digital chaos into a single portrait — but as I kept working on it, the direction became clearer.
The focus here is on fragmentation and signal — lines cutting through the composition, glitch-like elements intersecting with the face, and that intense neon light pushing everything forward. I wanted it to feel like a moment caught between systems, where identity and data blur together.
It’s not fully resolved yet, but it’s close. Close enough that I can already see it evolving into a T-shirt design. Pieces like this sit in that interesting space between sketch and final — where the raw energy is still intact, but the structure is starting to lock in.
With everything going on in the world, it’s easy to get pulled in different directions, but creating work like this helps keep things grounded. It’s a reminder to keep building, keep experimenting, and keep moving forward regardless of the noise.
Heading deeper into this year, I’m staying focused — continuing to create, refine, and share along the way. More cyberpunk pieces are coming, and this one will definitely be part of that next wave.
