St Patrick’s Day clover Bottle Sketch

St Patrick’s Day clover bottle sketch began as a loose study focused on exploration rather than polish. Some sketches don’t need to be perfect to be valuable. This St. Patrick’s Day–inspired piece is a little rough around the edges, but it ended up opening the door to a whole new set of ideas — and that’s exactly why I like it.

I was playing with the idea of a glass bottle infused with clovers, letting color, texture, and loose line work do most of the heavy lifting. The transparency of the glass, the glow of green tones, and the organic shapes inside started to suggest more than just a single image. It felt like the beginning of a visual theme rather than a finished statement.

These kinds of sketches are important to me. They act as creative sparks — reminders that progress doesn’t always come from polishing something to death. Sometimes it comes from letting things stay a little raw and seeing where they lead next. This one definitely planted a seed, and I’ll likely be sharing more St. Patrick’s Day–related sketches as that idea continues to grow.

As I move forward through 2026, I’m staying committed to the process — showing up, experimenting, and continuing the journey no matter what life throws my way. One sketch leads to another, and that momentum is what keeps everything moving forward. Let’s go.
